“We have been utilizing Seek Now for over 2 years to 3D capture our retail stores. What started as an initiative to capture new store openings (and used internally, for those that could not attend the store opening in person) evolved into a crucial planning tool for our Construction, Facilities Management, and Store Design teams. 

We utilize the 3D scan technology in order to “see” stores across our entire US portfolio that many stakeholders would otherwise never visit in person, especially in today’s COVID impacted workplace. The ability to walk through a retail store live during a conference call to discuss opportunities or actions has been invaluable and far exceeds what we could achieve with photos.

 The 3D scans are detailed enough for us to propose rebuild and refresh projects, evaluate the condition of fixtures and flooring, and analyze high-traffic customer touch points such as fitting rooms and cash register conditions. We can effectively plan upgrades to each location (with multiple departments involved, including IT and Security) as required without ever leaving our desks! Now that this initiative has been a few years in the making – we have continued to scan new store openings, and in some instances are re-scanning locations as a check-in from a Facilities Management perspective.
