Valentine’s Day Surprise: How A Seek Now Field Inspector Delivered His Daughter at Home
“Some people plan at-home births; we did not.”
This story-in-a-sentence comes from Ethan McGalliard, a Seek Now field inspector based in North Carolina, who assisted his wife, Kiersten, with the sudden surprise delivery of their daughter, Britton Lee.
When it became clear there was no time to spare, Ethan called 911. With the operator’s guidance and EMS en route, Ethan and Kiersten delivered their daughter at home.
Adding even more awe to this happy ending, Britton Lee – born on February 14, 2025 – is a healthy 7lb 9oz Valetine’s baby.
When asked how he felt upon meeting Britton Lee, Ethan shared, “A wave of tranquility washed over me, and I felt an instant connection with Britton. A bond that only grows with each passing day as I welcome this precious new addition to our family.”

As the age-old adage holds true, it takes a village. Ethan made it known he has many of his Seek Now colleagues to thank in directly supporting this pleasant surprise. Seek Now’s field inspectors often complete dozens of property inspections each day. Property owners and insurance carriers are impacted in the circumstance that an inspector cannot arrive to their scheduled appointment. Fortunately, Ethan’s team had his back and ensured every box was checked. Upon calling his Regional Field Manager, Chris Riley, at 7am to provide the big life update, Chris did not hesitate to jump in and reassign all of Ethan’s scheduled inspections. Ethan also doted on his “amazing Seek Now buddies who reached out for moral support, and with gifts for Britton.”
“I take pride in waking up every day, putting on my green Seek Now polo, and going out to do something I absolutely love. Seek Now has granted me the earning opportunities to provide the sole income for our family, which also allows my fiancé to stay at home and take care of our little girls. I’m very thankful for the bonds I have formed at this company.”
Here’s to you, Ethan, Kiersten, and Britton!
